Persela Talk about Postponement of League 1

Along with the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) on August 17, 2017, some of the fixtures of the League 1 competition were changed.

Through the letter numbered 240 / LIB / VIII / 2017, the operator of the competition, in this case PT Liga Indonesia Baru, informed, there are several matches of the week-to-20 series that moved the schedule as it coincided with the anniversary of the 72nd RI.

“It’s been a few days since we got a notification letter that the match of Persela (Lamongan) in the 20th week changed because along with the anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Persela Secretary, Muji Santoso, Wednesday (16/08/2017).

“However, not only is Persela’s schedule, but the timetable of some teams as well, is equally postponed,” he said.

In the course of the 20th week, there are only two matches, namely Persija Jakarta counter PSM Makassar which took place on August 15, 2017 yesterday and Arema facing Persiba Balikpapan on Friday (18/08/2017) future.

Meanwhile, Sriwijaya FC match counter Persib Bandung and PS TNI counter Bhayangkara, which should be held today, Wednesday (16/08/2017), experienced a delay.

So even with Mitra Kukar against Madura United, Bali United counter Persela, Persegres Gresik United counter Borneo FC, which should kick-off on August 17, 2017, and Persipura Jayapura face Semen Padang on August 18, 2017.

“From the schedule we have received, it was stated that the match will be held on September 3, 2017,” said Muji.

Not only Persela against Bali United, on 3 Sepetember 2017 it will also held a match between PS TNI facing Bhayangkara FC, Mitra Kukar counter Madura United, and Perseru Serui against Barito Putera.

A day later or on September 4, 2017, will be held party Sriwijaya FC counter Persib Bandung, Persegres Gresik United against Borneo FC, and Persipura Jayapura face Semen Padang.
